Speaking with a therapist during a Let’s Talk drop-in can help you access support, gain perspective, explore wellness resources, and discuss components of holistic well-being. The CAPS Let's Talk program provides easy access to informal, brief, consultation sessions with mental health professionals from UC Berkeley's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). It is free and there is no paperwork to complete! Let’s Talk meetings are not part of the student’s mental health records. Please note that a 'drop-in' is not considered formal therapy. Nor is it the appropriate setting for urgent concerns. If you are in need of immediate support, or would like to schedule a counseling appointment please contact the CAPS office at 510-642-9494. If CAPS is closed, please call the CAPS after hours support line at 855-817-5667. ::: /// ::: Limits to Confidentiality Only when there is an immediate threat of harm to you or others, Let’s Talk counselors are required to document and report student experiences.
