Asian Physician Leadership Panel

In 2016-2017, 16.9% of UW physicians identified as Asian, however only 3% of senior administrative positions were occupied by Asian physicians. Why is this? What factors play into significantly lower representation of API physicians in senior positions?

The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) will be inviting 4 local physicians in leadership positions to sit on an Asian American Physician Leadership panel at 6pm, Monday, September 10th in T-550! The panelists will focus on issues, opportunities, and barriers of APA leadership in medicine.
