Commencement Volunteer Sign-up

Please join us in one of the most celebratory moments of the academic year: Commencement. In alignment with all COVID-impacted events, Commencement will look a bit different this year and thus require some additional volunteer needs. This is a wonderful way to reconnect with the campus community and celebrate our resilient graduates.

We are requesting volunteers - please see the sign-up below for the three Commencement ceremonies (CLA class of 2021, CLA class of 2020, and Holt) on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Showalter Field (near WP H.S.) In order to create a seamless day, we are in need of approximately 40 volunteers for each ceremony.

Additional details will be provided via email to all volunteers, including a volunteer training of your choice on May 4 at 10am or May 5 at 10am via WebEx (this information will be included in the follow-up email for all volunteers). Example volunteer tasks include greeting guests, passing out programs, passing out gift bags, assisting in the accessible seating section, guiding guests to seating, etc.)

We would be incredibly grateful for your support to make this a memorable day for our graduates who have overcome so much change and have missed so many campus traditions due to the impacts of COVID.
