Overnight Stay April 9 and 23 - Parents' Panel

The Cal Alumni Student Association (CASA) invites you to serve on a panel to answer questions and address concerns from parents of admitted students during their Overnight Stay Program (OSP) on the evenings of April 9 and April 23. Commonly asked questions revolve around campus safety, housing, accessibility of classes, quality of food, healthcare, academic advising, etc. A detailed briefing will be provided to you prior to the date of your event, and you can cancel your sign-up any time. Panelists are also invited to join in a pre-panel dinner and post-panel reception at the Alumni House. You can choose to attend these optional social events or just participate in the panel discussion.

In its 25th year, OSP is the largest overnight experience program at UC Berkeley attracting nearly 400 participants and 100 prospective parents each year. High school seniors who have been accepted get a taste for life at Cal through a 24-hour campus visit organized by the students of CASA. Parents of admitted students participate in a concurrent program tailored to parents’ interests, which includes faculty talks as well as resource presentations on financial aid, health and safety, and other campus information.
