Join us for a day of service on January 16th as we honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr Below you will find more information on the projects for each site and how to RSVP. Transportation will be provided. Volunteers will receive more information via email closer to the service date. Seedlings for Civil Rights – Volunteers will green up Lake Mann Homes and the surrounding trails by planting, mulching, and removing litter and debris. This project will be leaving from Rollins at 8:00am and returning around 12:30pm. To learn more about Seedlings for Civil Rights, visit https://www.orlando.gov/Events/Seedlings-for-Civil-Rights-2022 Mustard Seed of Central Florida – Volunteers will be working on a variety of projects including mattress recycling, warehouse organizing, and sorting to help their Seed Boutique and community shop. Volunteers should expect to be able to lift 10 – 40 pounds. This project will be from leaving from Rollins at 12:30pm and returning around 4:30pm.
