Auditions for ELF The Musical:

Audition Ages:
We are looking for boys ages 10-13 to audition for Michael Hobbs.
Main Characters & Ensemble should be High School age thru Adult.

Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Please sign up for ONE slot and arrive
15 minutes prior to your audition slot to fill out an audition form.

* Note that the MTI licensed version we are performing has Happy All the Time for the opening number and NOT Christmastown.

Be prepared to sing a song (not exceeding 32 bars or 1 minute in length) FROM THE SHOW sung by a character you would like to audition for OR that's in your vocal range. No a cappella singing allowed. Sheet music from the show will be provided as well as an accompanist. Also, come prepared to dance with proper dance attire. You will be asked to sing followed by learning a short dance combination.

If you cannot attend auditions, video submissions can be uploaded to google drive (sharing options turned ON) or YouTube and sent to theatre@olparks.com SUBJECT: ELF AUDITION

CALL BACKS: Friday, September 8th starting @ 7pm (Callback information will be emailed out after all auditions have taken place.)

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
Mondays 7pm-10pm
Thursdays 7pm-10pm
Sundays 12pm-4pm

TECH SUNDAY: Sunday, November 5th
TECH WEEK: Monday, November 6th thru Thursday, November 9th
PERFORMANCES: November 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th @ 7:30pm & November 12th and 19th @ 3pm.

COME WITH A LIST OF YOUR CONFLICTS. We will not accept conflicts AFTER the show has been cast. We cannot cast those with multiple conflicts, or conflicts during tech week through performance dates.
