Thank you so much for your interest in auditioning! The mission of Contemporary A Cappella (Facebook.com/UCFACappella) is to promote the growth, development, and awareness of a cappella music and techniques in the UCF and Orlando community through performance, outreach, and entertainment. This year's auditions will be for the following four groups:

As a better way to make the audition process smoother for all groups as well as all auditionees we have decided to separate the audition dates according to gender. Guys interested in auditioning will audition on Monday (the 25th) and Thursday (the 28th), while ladies will audition on Tuesday (the 26th) and Wednesday (the 27th).

Each audition will be observed by a panel of no more than two members (usually music directors) from each group. Auditions will consist of a verse and a chorus (about a minute to a minute and a half of material) of any song that you think displays your voice the best. Sight reading, a range test, and a short interview portion may also be part of the audition process.

If slots fill up and you find yourself unable to make the times left, please sign up under the slot labeled "walk-ins" on the day that you plan to audition. Show up anytime during that day, and we'll make sure you get the chance to audition. However, you may have to wait until after everyone who was previously signed up has already gone. Remember, walk-ins are still gender specific (guys should come Monday or Thursday, while ladies should come Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday).
