Commencement Volunteer Sign-up 2022

Please join us in one of the most celebratory moments of the academic year: Commencement. As we return to Showalter Field, we will need lots of volunteer support staff to make each ceremony special. This is a wonderful way to connect with the campus community and celebrate our resilient graduates.

We are requesting volunteers - please see the sign-up below for the two Commencement ceremonies (CLA class of 2022 and Holt class of 2022). Holt Commencement will be on Saturday, May 7, 2022 and CLA Commencement will be on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Showalter Field (near WP H.S.) In order to create a seamless day, we are in need of at least 35 volunteers for each ceremony.

Additional details will be provided via email to all volunteers, including a volunteer training of your choice on May 5 at 4pm or May 6 at 12pm via WebEx (this information will be included in the follow-up email for all volunteers). Example volunteer tasks include greeting guests, passing out programs, assisting in the accessible seating section, guiding guests to seating, etc.)
