TreePeople (11/4)
TreePeople is an organization that inspires and supports the people of LA to come together to plant and care for trees, harvest the rain, and renew depleted landscapes. By uniting the with communities, they are able to grow a greener and more water-secure city at homes, neighborhoods, school, and local mountains. They also work with volunteer leaders using a unique Citizen Forester model and influence government agencies to create a healthy, thriving Los Angeles.
AGS will be helping this organization by joining TreePeople's Pam Gibson, students, teachers, and parents of Broadous Elementary School, in Pacoima, in planting and taking care of young trees. Space is limited by the organization so sign up officially on their site at the link below and sign up on this page as well. This is so the organization can add you to the event if you are put in their waiting list and someone drops for the event also to let us know you are coming respectively.
