Singin' in the Rain JR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline — the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.

The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from their original award-winning screenplay in Singin' in the Rain JR. Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make Singin' in the Rain JR. a guaranteed good time for performers and audience members alike. Audition Materials: All actors should come prepared with a one-minute song either from the show or in the style of the show. This song should be upbeat, happy, and energetic. Actors will also be provided with sides (short scenes) from the show to read aloud from.

Auditions will take place on Thursday, February 5th and Friday, February 6th from 5:30-7:30pm. Actors can choose a timeslot on either the 5th or the 6th.

Callbacks will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 1:00-3:00. Callbacks will begin with a dance call and may include group and individual singing from the show and reading from the script. All actors should attend Callbacks on the 7th.
