Kindergarten Screenings 26/27

Greetings Zion Kindergarten Families,

On Tuesday, April 28th, we request your presence and that of your kindergartner at our kindergarten screening. This screening assesses your child’s developmental skills using the DIAL-4 screening assessment, which covers motor, cognitive, and language skills.

The purpose of this assessment is to gather as much information as possible about your child’s abilities prior to the upcoming school year. This screening is not intended to label or exclude students; rather, it helps us plan our programming and better prepare to meet the educational needs of each child. It is an important tool in helping us achieve the educational excellence we strive for at Zion Lutheran School.

You can expect your child’s screening to last approximately one hour. Appointments can be scheduled using the table below.
