Project Homeless Connect is an event on Wednesday Oct. 28, 2015 at the Tacoma Armory
Project Homeless Connect has become a nationwide movement to increase access to services for the homeless and engage the community in finding solution for homelessness.

Medical students will be collecting the vitals and tentatively blood glucose of the homeless coming to the medical portion of the event.

This is a great opportunity to work with a highly underserved population in a way that can make an impact. MS1's: since you will be practicing your clinical skills while participating, if you have PCP on that Wednesday, your absence will be excused if you attend. If you have clinical skills workshop that afternoon, the morning shift is over early enough that you will be able to make it back by the time class starts in the afternoon!

Include your name and email, and if you would be able to drive! Please sign up for either the morning, afternoon, or both if you're able to stay all day! We need 6 students to attend either session. This has been a very well attended event in the past with many volunteers signing up so sign up quick to secure your spot!

Following sign up you will be sent information regarding carpool, parking, what to wear, tasks, etc.
