Longhorn Singers - Spring 2025 Auditions

Welcome to the Longhorn Singers Spring 2025 Audition Sign-Up Page!

Auditions are 7 minutes during the following times:
Friday, January 17th: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Saturday, January 18th: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: 1/16 Butler School of Music Orchestra Room (MRH 2.118), 1/17 Butler School of Music Band Hall

If you have filled out the Audition Info Sheet (above), you will be notified once a location is finalized. Auditions will likely be held at the Butler School of Music.

If the available times do not work for you, please notify us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Auditions will consist of 4 sections:
1. A 1:30 excerpt of a song that demonstrates your vocal range (will be acapella, must be memorized)
2. A short sight reading section (similar to TX All-Region excerpts)
3. Vocal warm-ups
4. Pitch memorization

***Please provide your name AND voice part(s) in your sign-up slot.***
------ If you are willing to sing more than one voice part, please add those as well. Ex: alto 2 and tenor 1, soprano 1 and 2
***Please prioritize earlier timeslots, unless you have a specific conflict***

Callbacks will take place on the evening of Sunday, January 19th from approximately 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Callbacks will have a group singing portion and a dancing portion. Please dress accordingly! You will be notified if you got a callback by email on the day of or night before.
