YTC: Elf, Jr. Auditions!

BAC's Youth Theatre Company is presenting Elf the Musical, Jr. this December! Students ages 8-18 are invited to spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear!

This production, directed by Anthony Whitson-Martini, will have auditions in the Studio Theatre on the following dates:
Tuesday, October 1st from 5:30-8:30
Wednesday, October 2nd from 5:30-8:30

Dance Call (all auditionees should attend) & Callbacks (actors may or may not be invited for additional callbacks after the dance call): Saturday, October 5th from 1:00-3:00.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Please prepare either
- 30 seconds of a holiday song that feels comfortable in your voice, a capella
- An excerpt of a song from the show (sheet music and guided vocal track linked below)

Actors should be prepared to read sides from the script if asked. These sides will be provided the day of the audition.

THE DANCE CALL will take place on Saturday, October 5th ahead of callbacks. ALL ACTORS should attend the Dance Call.

NOTE: All actors should register for the production in advance of their audition date. Registration can be completed at beverlyartscenter.com, in person at the Front Desk, or over the phone at 773.445.3838. Tuition is $400 and includes two complimentary tickets to the show.

Rehearsals will take place on:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30
Saturdays from 1:00-3:00
Not all students will be called to all rehearsals.
There may be additional rehearsals added leading up to the performance dates.

Performances:
Thursday, December 5th & Friday, December 6th @ 7:00pm
Saturday, December 7th & Sunday, December 8th @ 3:00pm
