Chicago-Kent 2021 Mini-Commencement Stage Crossing Ceremonies - APRIL 11, 2021

**** REGISTRATION FOR MINI-COMMENCEMENT STAGE CROSSING CEREMONIES IS CLOSED ****

Chicago-Kent is holding Mini-Commencement Stage Crossing Ceremonies throughout the day on Sunday, April 11 to safely recognize graduates in-person in the Ogilvie Auditorium (lobby level of Chicago-Kent) in advance of the virtual ceremony.

Each session will recognize up to 12 students per 15-minute session. Students will be required to sign-up below for a specific session to participate. Graduates will enter through one door and wait in a designated, socially-distanced marked spot before approaching the stage one at a time. As each graduate's name is announced, they will be video-recorded while walking across the stage, pause briefly for multiple photos, and proceed off the stage. We expect to have enough faculty volunteers to individually hood graduates on stage. After crossing the stage, graduates may choose to stand in a socially-distanced marked location within the Auditorium to watch the remaining classmates in that 15-minute session, or directly exit the Auditorium. In order to comply with pandemic capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines, graduates may only remain in the Auditorium for their designated session.

Chicago-Kent will video record each mini-ceremony session, with footage to be incorporated into the Virtual Ceremony. Photographers from GradImages will be onsite to take multiple images of each graduate, with proofs available to review and purchase approximately 72 hours after the mini-ceremonies. Photos will be taken as graduates are hooded (pending faculty volunteers), with Dean Krug, followed by an individual graduate portrait.

Masks and social distancing will be required, and additional safety measures implemented, while graduates are in the Auditorium and in the Chicago-Kent building in general.
