Below are slots for teach-ins to occur at the Worth Ryder Art Gallery in an installation space titled "What is Power?"
From May 2nd to May 15th, as a part of my Senior Projects gallery installation, I will be opening up my allocated space in the Worth Ryder Art Gallery, loosely structured like a classroom, for folks to use. The piece, titled “What is Power?” is centered around folks organizing, educating, overcoming institutional oppression, or simply working towards a better world. My vision for the “teach-ins” or “power inversions” is to have folks use the space to: raise awareness to outside folks about what their organization is doing, have a regular organization meeting, or give the public a “radical lesson,” which can be anything from “How to secure a building from the inside (with an eye for occupations)” to "How to Organize a Rent Strike” to "What does sustainability mean?"

Please create a tentative title for your "radical lesson" or organizational meeting, etc, and please email taylorlh@berkeley.edu with the likely contents of your teach-in so that she can add you to the official schedule!
