Barbara's village

Thank you for being part of Barbara's village--and helping me support her. I am grateful for your help and these few words don't do justice.

I need to help Barbara downsize. For environmental and social reasons, I'd like to avoid shifting most of a house of belongings to the dump. To that end, I've identified a number of organizations that could benefit from donations. If you would be able to take a carload of items to one of these sites, please list the site in the sign-up below. In addition, if you happen to have extra grocery or department store sacks (with handles) and/or extra boxes (any size!) lying around, I would be grateful for any donations.

* Lake City Value Village (no doubt multiple carloads and runs...)
* UW Horticultural Library
* Food bank donations at any grocery store of your convenience
* Seattle ReMaterials (Greenwood):
* Recycling at the Transfer Station (Wallingford)
* Plain old dump at the Transfer Station (Wallingford)
* Hazardous waste at the Transfer Station on Aurora
