2016 Spring Musical Auditions

Rodgers and Hammerstein's, "Cinderella"!

Please sign up for your audition time. There are 6 signups available for each time slot on Tuesday and 6 signups available for each time slot on Thursday. 2nd - 3rd graders may ONLY audition for an ensemble role. 4th -8th graders may audition for a speaking role or an ensemble role.

If you auditioning for Ensemble: Please be prepared to sing one verse (about 30 seconds) of any song of your choice.

If you are auditioning for a Speaking Role: Please be prepared to sing one verse (about 30 seconds) of any song of your choice AND please be prepared to perform a short monologue. The monologues are available on the school website. https://lvcs.org/files/uploads/all_audition_sides_-_cinderella.pdf

Every student should prepare 30 seconds of any song. Choose a song that best highlights the student's vocal abilities.

Only students who want a speaking role need to prepare a scene. Ensemble only auditionees do not need to prepare a scene. The should choose one of the attached scenes.

There are two scenes for Cinderella - only one of the scenes need to be prepared, however, we may ask some candidates to also read the second scene.
