Volunteers Needed (9/30) to Support Puerto Rico

Acadia Florida Centro Borinqueno on Econ Trail: We are coordinating efforts to transport interested volunteers on Saturday, September 30th from 12:00 – 4:00pm to package supplies that will be sent directly to Puerto Rico. If you are interested in attending, please meet at Tars Plaza (Giant Flag Pole in front of Mills Lawn-Center of Campus) at 11:30 a.m. Wevwill be back on campus by 4:30 p.m.
o What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are required and comfortable clothing is recommended.
o What to bring: A refillable water-bottle
o Items being collected: If you would like, please feel free to bring: cases of water, canned goods, toiletries, disposable diapers, and mosquito ointment (Vicks Vapor Rub works!)
o Where to go if you can’t go with the Rollins group or at that time: Students, Faculty, and Staff are welcome to drive themselves if they cannot participate during the full time frame. Volunteering takes place at Acacia Florida Centro Borinqueno. The address is 1865 N. Econolockhatchee Trail Orlando, FL 32817. Please note, you still must complete the waiver, wear appropriate attire, and review all the information above.
