Service Excellence Book Club - "Eat That Frog! 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time"

Hosted by dzajchowski@rollins.edu

You are invited to join the second Rollins College Service Excellence Book Club! The Service Excellence Book Club is an inclusion leadership and service excellence learning program involving staff, faculty and students who come together to discuss, respond, react, and apply lessons learned from a current leadership text.

All members of the campus community are invited to read "Eat That Frog! 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time" by Brian Tracy and participate in a conversation about how this applies to our work at the College.

We will host two (2) meetings in November to meet and discuss the book (both meetings will be the same and you do not need to attend both meetings). The meetings will be facilitated by Susan Bach, Executive Director Center for Leadership Development at the Crummer Graduate School of Business, and David Zajchowski, Human Resources Manager.

Space is limited and interested people will be required to sign-up below and acknowledge that they will obtain a copy of the book, read it and attend the book club meeting. Additional offerings of this workshop may be scheduled if needed in accordance with demand. We look forward to seeing you there!

The book is available to check out or purchase in multiple locations. Below is a partial list of where you can find this book:

- Olin Library (online version of book)
- Orange County Library (multiple copies)
- Winter Park Library
- Amazon ($9.99 - $11.96)

ABOUT THE BOOK & AUTHOR

There just isn't enough time for everything on our "to do" list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure they get done.

There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that it's probably the worst thing you'll do all day. Using "eat that frog" as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging task of your day - the one you are most likely to procrastinate on, but also probably the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life - "Eat That Frog" shows you how to zero in on the critical tasks and organize each day. You'll not only get more done faster but get the right things done.
