Parent chaperones drive students to Pier 41 in San Francisco, where we all board the Blue and Gold Fleet ferry to Angel Island. We tour the Chinese internment facilities there with one of the park's excellent docents, then hike, ferry, and drive home. It's an amazing day, and keep in mind that we'll be back a little later than usual on this Friday afternoon.
