UDSM St. Vincent's Brunch at Blessed Sacrament, Sunday 05/08/2022, 11AM-1PM
Project Description: Blessed Sacrament hosts a Sunday brunch program that provides a full course meal every week to Seattle area homeless, unemployed, or low-income individuals and families. Volunteers meet with adults to discuss health concerns, handout supplies, check vital signs and to offer education on the referral process and available healthcare services.
Location: Blessed Sacrament Church at 5050 8th Ave NE
Parking & Directions: Please use the parking lot south of the facility (accessed via 9th Avenue NE) as your first parking option. If parking is not available in the south lot, as a second choice please use the main lot North of the church (accessed via 8th Avenue NE), utilizing those stalls marked "No School Parking, 7:15 AM - 8:15 AM." As a third choice, please use on-street parking.
Reminders: Dress casually but appropriately for the environment. Wear casual, non-provocative clothing, comfortable shoes and refrain from wearing flashy items like expensive jewelry. Bring your UDSM or UW name badge if you have one!

*"Backup" volunteers will be contacted if a volunteer can no longer make their shift. Please DO NOT "give" your shift to a friend, as we want to make it fair and allow the next person on the list to attend.
Cancellations: If you sign-up for a session and need to cancel, please notify the Volunteer Coordinator. If canceling within 12 hours of outreach, please contact outreach manager!
