HMC Mobile Health Outreach @ Tiny House Villages
UW Health Sciences students will be partnering with Harborview Medical Center (HMC) Downtown programs to provide urgent care services to residents of Low Income Housing Institute’s Tiny House Villages. Health sciences students will work on interprofessional teams to respond to community identified health needs while further developing their teamwork and clinical skills.
Outreach events are two hours long. The van manager will arrive 30 minutes prior to the event to set up. Student volunteers who can arrive early to help set up are encouraged to do so.
More details will be provided via email to students who sign up. For questions please contact Tori Verhulst (vrv3@uw.edu)
