2026/2027 IndepenDANCE Team Auditions

Thank you for your interest in the IndepenDANCE Team! Due to the overwhelming response, we are restructuring and rescheduling our audition process to better accommodate all dancers.

Please carefully review the updated instructions below:

Sign-Up Requirement

All dancers must sign up for an audition slot based on their grade level for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. Be sure to select the correct group:

Grades 3–5
Grades 6–8
Freshman–Senior (High School)

Preparation
Auditions will be held at Oakview Center where recreational classes are held. Come dressed in appropriate dance attire (form-fitting clothing, proper footwear for tap and jazz). Bring water and be prepared to learn and perform choreography, demonstrate technique, and showcase performance quality.

Arrival
Please arrive at least 10–15 minutes early to check in.
Late arrivals may not be permitted to audition.

Attitude & Effort
We are looking for dancers who demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude, coachability, and enthusiasm—along with technical ability.
