    Medical School 101 & Workshop!


    Interested in applying to medical school? Looking for advice from current medical students who have just gone through the process?

    Come join us on Thursday, February 15th where current 1st year medical students at the UW School of Medicine will give an overview of what you need to do to prepare for your medical school application. Topics that we will cover include:
    -Premed 101 – everything from premed prerequisites to valuable experiences, such as volunteering and shadowing
    -The Personal Statement - telling your compelling narrative
    -The AMCAS Activities Section – tips for completing this key component of the primary application
    -Letters of Recommendation – identifying your best advocates and receiving strong letters
    -Secondary Applications (and the Dangers of Student Doctor Network) – how to craft strong supplementary essays
