Casa Latina - Winter 2020

Spanish is not required! Signing up allows you the opportunity to take client history and physicals, present client cases to physician preceptors, assist physician preceptors in the evaluation of clients, and attend follow-up appointments with clients.

Pre-clinical students: Please only sign-up for one Clinic per term to allow everyone to participate that wants to. If there are still open clinic spots the Wednesday before clinic, please feel free to sign-up for clinic.

Volunteer as a Clinical Student (3 positions) or Pre-clinical student (5 positions):
We also have two waitlist spots for both. Clinic runs from 6:40 am to 10:00am (at the latest) and you do not need to speak Spanish to volunteer. An email with clinic details will be sent to those signed up to volunteer on Friday morning before clinic.

Cancellation Policy: If you are signed up to volunteer (as confirmed on the volunteer details email sent out on the Friday before clinic) and have a last minute change in your availability, you are required to notify the clinic manager (listed on that Friday email) that you cannot attend the clinic. Any “no-shows” will not be allowed to volunteer at Casa Latina clinic for the rest of the quarter.

Volunteers: Bring your STETHOSCOPES and MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.
