Fall 2023 UT University Orchestra Auditions

Welcome to UTUO Auditions !!!!! You are on Step 2 of your Audition process.

This is a very exciting process, we wish you the very best!

Dates of Audition:

Saturday August 19: Violas, Cellos and Basses. 5pm-10pm

Sunday August 20: Violins. 5pm-10pm

Tuesday August 22: Brass and Woodwinds 6pm
to 10pm

Please make sure you sign up on the day of your Instrument Audition Times.

Please include your full name, phone number, instrument, and email while filling out the form. This helps us to plan for your audition and to reach you if needed.

Location of Auditions: Butler School of Music MRH 2.118

- All performers will play a brief solo excerpt. It can be the exposition of the first movement of a concerto or comparable work,of approximately 2 to 2.5 minutes in length, and the required orchestral excerpts.

-Performers should prepare ALL the excerpts, although not all of them will be asked on the audition.
