Zoom Tech Support Volunteers for Kehilla Services

Thank you for signing up to support our Spiritual Leaders and our whole community to maximize the effectiveness and accessibility of our online services!

1. You can access the Zoom link for services via the Kehilla online calendar, Sukkah b'Makom page, or weekly email that comes out on Thursdays.

2. The host (the Service Leader for the service) will make you a co-host or the host once you're both in the Zoom Room, approximately **10 minutes before the service begins.**

3. The SL will decide whether they want the waiting room enabled or not before the service starts.

4. The SL will decide whether to MUTE ALL as people enter, or to ask you to MUTE ALL once the service actually starts.

5. Post the links provided on this Google Doc [https://docs.google.com/document/d/13HfAqiNZul2X1nVvviHVBTJ0iJ1c4BNxozdIS6c_CgU/edit?usp=sharing] at the very start of the service, and as indicated, either periodically throughout the service, at appointed times, or when requested by the leaders or a participant in the chat. The SLs will update the links for services each week, possibly right up until the service begins!

6. Keep your ears and eyes out for when a participant is inadvertently unmuted and causing audio disruption, so you can mute them ASAP. Sometimes, MUTE ALL is the fastest way to achieve this, but be sure to unmute whoever is leading immediately afterwards.

7. Keep your eye on the chat window for requests for links to be re-posted or for zoom tech support from participants or leaders

8. Some SLs will ask for your support with screen sharing material

9. Some SLs will ask for your support with creating random break out groups

1. Cancel your WeJoin signup on this page using the code e-mailed to you when you first signed up.
2. Contact your back-up to let them know they'll be taking over for you.
3. If there is no back up and it's after 2pm on Friday before a Friday or Saturday service, please contact the spiritual leader directly.
4. Otherwise, please contact Elle@KehillaSynagogue.org so she can find a backup.
