The Fair Labor Standards Act establishes minimum wage, overtime, record keeping and employment standards that all affect all employees. Do you know what constitutes compensable work time under the FLSA? Do you know when commuting time, travel time, on call time, break time, meal periods, and attendance at off campus meetings and events constitutes compensable work time and when it does not? If you are non-exempt or supervise and approve time cards for non-exempt staff, you need to understand these rules. This session will provide a general overview and Q&A surrounding these work time rules under FLSA.
