Strawberry & Justice Festival Cooking Workshop

This year, for FSWG's Annual Strawberry & Justice Festival, the Cowell Coffee Shop and FSWG will be hosting a Cooking Workshop!

This will be an asynchronous event in which folx are invited to follow a cooking demonstration showing how to make strawberry galettes and agua fresca. The video will be posted on the CASFS Youtube Channel here:

On May 20th, we will be hosting a Strawberry Galette Competition on the Cowell Coffee Shop Instagram! To enter, we are asking folx to tag @cowellcoffeeshop in a picture of their strawberry galettes by noon on May 20th. From 1-8pm, voting for the best strawberry galette will be open on the @cowellcoffeeshop Instagram Story. The winners will be announced at 8:30pm. The First Place winner will receive a Bluetooth Speaker and two Runner-Ups will win $40 Farmer's Market Tokens!

Meal Kit:

Each Meal Kit will include strawberries sourced from Brother's Ranch, flour, butter, mint, CASFS lemons, vanilla, and sugar. There will also be a Vegan Kit offered that includes coconut oil as a substitute for butter!
