HVAW Hayes Valley Carnival sign up Saturday July 18th- Artists & Volunteers

Please join us at our Hayes Valley Art Works booth during the Hayes Valley Carnival! We will be AT the Carnival near Proxy/Patricia's Green (around Hayes/Octavia)

We will be hosting kids and family art activities, and promoting the art exhibit and garden and jazz jam - and plant sale! We could use help for the entire day, but if you can only do a portion, that will be really helpful! We will start setting up around 10 am (setup always takes longer), and the carnival goes 12 until 4, so we will break down from 4-5. So two shifts - 10-1:30 and 1:30-5! Or both!

Rene, Babs and Sarah will be the main points of contact when you arrive. Please check in with them! (Alternately text Babs at 415.688.9134). Note, we are not yet sure of the location of our booth, but last year we were near the corner of Octavia and Hayes, next to the Face Painter.

Ideally we would like 2 artists on each shift if possible! Note, there will be time to wander around and check out the carnival too! It is a big event!

If you volunteer, you are welcome to bring some cards or small works to sell. Table space is limited!

Shift 1 - 10-1:30 setup and first part of carnival.

Shift 2 - 1:30-5. Second part of Carnival and break down/cleanup
