Dear Rollins Community,

Rollins Immersion: Citizens Take Action is excited to announce Immersion Facilitator Training for students, faculty, and staff for Fall 2016. Through Immersion Facilitator Training, members of the Rollins community will develop skills pertaining to: group dynamics, conflict management, intercultural competence, and team-building.

What is Immersion?
The Rollins Immersion: Citizens Take Action Program exposes students, faculty and staff to critical cultural, social, political and structural issues in the community through weekend and weeklong experiences of civic and community engagement.

Who can participate?
All students, faculty, and staff of the Rollins community are welcome to participate in the day-long training session to become a trained Immersion facilitator. Trained leaders provide direction and support for participants during their weekend/weeklong journeys of education, reflection and action on Immersion experiences.

Details:
This year, Breakaway, the national alternative break organization, will facilitate two Immersion Facilitator Trainings in September on the following dates:
Friday, September 9: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday, September 10: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Participants must be able to attend the entire duration. Training is FREE and open to ALL Rollins students, faculty, and staff. A light dinner/snacks will be provided.

Registration closes Wednesday, September 7th at 5 p.m.
