2021 Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition - Volunteer Bailiffs

Hosted by thomastangmootcourt@gmail.com

Please volunteer to serve as a bailiff for the National Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition (Competition). The Competition is an appellate advocacy competition sponsored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Law Foundation. This year’s competition will be conducted completely over Zoom.

The bailiff serves a very important function in the Competition. The bailiff's role is to call the Court to order, maintain decorum in the "courtroom," time the oral presentations, serve as a liaison to your assigned judges and competitors, and ensure that participating teams observe the rules of the Competition. Additionally, the bailiff will be able to observe and learn from other law school students who are competing in the Competition, and network with judges and attorneys.

You may sign up to serve as a bailiff for as many rounds as you wish. Once you sign up, you will receive an email with instructions. A member of the TTMC committee will meet with any volunteer bailiff to go over instructions or clarify the role.

If you have to cancel your commitment, please email Akhila Ganapathy at akhila.ganapathy.fa9j@statefarm.com.

For additional information regarding the Competition, please go to https://www.napabalawfoundation.org/ttmc/

Thank you for your time and service to the Competition!
