18W First Aid and CPR Classes
Dartmouth EMS offers American Heart Association certification courses in First Aid and CPR. Most of our CPR courses are at the “Heartsaver” level, though we do offer training at the “Healthcare Provider” (Basic Life Support) level for professional rescuers. Our courses are available at a subsidized rate of $15 per course for undergraduate students. The cost for graduate students, faculty, staff, and community members is $45 per course. If you would like to sign up for one of our classes, please use the form below.
We also offer courses for student organizations, community groups, and departments at locations and times of your choice. Please email us at dartmouth.ems@dartmouth.edu to set up a customized course for you at your location in the Upper Valley area. Please note that an additional cost may be associated with such courses.
The wait list column DOES NOT guarantee a spot in the course; however, allows top priority if spots are open the day of the course. People on the wait list must show up prior to the scheduled class and wait to see if there is a vacancy. Priority is given to people on the wait list who show up to class first.
**Tardiness Policy: If you are more than 10 minutes late to a class your spot may be given away to an unregistered person who was on time for the class. We cover material quickly and being on time to these classes is crucial.**
A reminder email will be sent Sunday night to everyone who has signed up for classes that week. A second reminder email will be sent in the 24-48 hours before the class. Any cancellation after the second reminder email will invoke our class cancellation policy, as outlined below.
*****Cancellation Policy: Cancellation after the second reminder email or failure to show up to the class without any notice will invoke this policy. If after making one of the above failures you wish to take another class, you will be required to email your DA$H number to Dartmouth EMS in advance and you will be charged for your missed class. If you are a non-Dartmouth student, you will be required to pay for the missed class prior to attending another class. Please contact Dartmouth EMS with any questions regarding this policy.*****
