Texas Choirs: 2026 Choral Auditions

Please sign up for a time slot below for Fall 2026 Texas Choirs auditions! If you wish to register for University Chorus (Treble Chorus/Tenor-Bass Chorus) you don't need to audition, but we'd still be happy to hear you. If you would like to be considered for the Concert Chorale or Repertory Chorus, an audition will be required.

Auditions are held in the Butler School of Music MRH building, up the elevator to the 5th floor, at the end of the hallway in room 5.138. Please check in at the desk located just outside the audition room.

During your audition, you will be guided through some simple warm-ups and asked to sight-read a few short selections. We will also ask you to perform, unaccompanied, a 30-60 second segment of a piece of your choice.
