Longhorn Singers - Auditions Fall 2022

Auditions are 10 minutes during the following time in the Butler School of Music:
Friday, August 26th, 4:00 - 7:00pm room BSOM 2.118
Saturday, August 27th, 10:00am - 5:00pm, 10-12 room WCP 1.106, 2-5 room BSOM 2.118
If the available times do not work for you, please notify us and we will do our best to accommodate.
Auditions will consist of 4 sections:
1. A 1:30 excerpt of a song that demonstrates your vocal range (will be acapella, must be memorized)
2. A sight reading section
3. Vocal Warm-ups
4. Pitch memorization

***Please prioritize earlier timeslots, unless you have a specific conflict***
***Masks will be required in all audition components***
Callbacks will take place on the evening of Sunday, August 28th from approximately 6:15-9:00 PM. Callbacks will have a group singing portion and a dancing portion. Please dress accordingly. You will be notified if you got a callback by email on the day of or night before.
