Caring for Latino/Latinx Communities: The Impact of Culture and Identity on Health

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, LMSA has partnered with CEDI
and NURF to present: “Caring for Latino/Latinx Communities: The Impact of
Culture and Identity on Health”. Please join us for a conversation about how living in
the United States impacts the health of Latino/Latinx communities, highlighting
historical events, immigration, policies, racial and ethnic discrimination, the
current political climate, and what this all means for health care providers.

Delicious food will be provided: Pupusas from Guanaco’s Tacos Pupuseria!

Date/time: Friday, September 7th, 2018 at 5:45pm
Location: Room T-439, Health Sciences Building

Hope to see you there!
