Auditions for Kimberly Akimbo

To schedule an audition, follow the below steps:

1. Click "JOIN" on your desired time.
2. Enter your FIRST and LAST name.
3. Enter your e-mail address.
4. Click "JOIN".

Once completed, you should receive a confirmation e-mail with a link and instructions on how to cancel your slot if necessary. Please save this e-mail in case you need to cancel or switch time slots. If you are unable to make the audition, please cancel as soon as possible to free up the slot for someone else.

Once joined, you will receive a document via e-mail to print, complete, and bring with you to the audition.

About the play:
Set in the wilds of suburban New Jersey, KIMBERLY AKIMBO is a hilarious and heartrending play about a teenager with a rare condition causing her body to age faster than it should. When she and her family flee Secaucus under dubious circumstances, Kimberly is forced to reevaluate her life while contending with a hypochondriac mother, a rarely sober father, a scam-artist aunt, her own mortality and, most terrifying of all, the possibility of first love.

Casting for the following roles:
KIMBERLY: a 16-year-old girl, played by a woman in her 60s or 70s
BUDDY: a man in his mid-30s, Kimberly's dad
PATTIE: a very pregnant woman in her mid-30s, Buddy's wife
JEFF: an awkward, unpopular 16-year-old boy
DEBRA: a woman in her early 30s, an ex-con, Pattie's sister

Please prepare a 1-minute comic monologue. Auditions will be held in Sherman Hall (E1530).
