Community Partner Impact Assessment and Lunch

Dear Community Partners,

We hope you're doing well. Thank you to those of you that were able to join us last week for our 1st session and thank you to those of you that completed the doodle poll for the new date/time. Please read the detailed email below for the new information and to RSVP.

As part of our work in the Center for Leadership & Community Engagement, we are always looking for ways to enhance our work to better serve the Central Florida community and each of you as our partners. With this goal in mind, we have teamed up with researchers from the Rollins Computer Science Department to create a new impact assessment tool. It would allow us to gather stories from partner organizations, holistically measure impact, help improve the office’s programming, and most importantly offer partner organizations data points to support their work. If YOU are receiving this e-mail, we see you as a KEY partner to the college and hope you will join us in this journey.

Part of this study involves focus groups with important stakeholders in the community. We value your continued partnership with our office and would love to have you join us for one of our data collection sessions. Plus, you know we will also provide a delicious meal as an added perk.

Sessions will take approximately two hours and will ask attendees to reflect on and discuss stories regarding their engagement with CLCE programs, and the impacts these programs have had on your organization. In the core of the session, we will create a group mind map to visually represent your feedback and the impacts you’ve experienced.

The goal of these sessions is to pinpoint what we, in the Center for Leadership & Community Engagement, are doing right and how our office can continue working to broaden our reach and strengthen the relationship with our partners.
We hope you will be a part of this exciting process! If you are able to participate in the updated date for the 2nd session (held on the Rollins campus), please click here to sign-up. We can have more than one partner for an organization. We need a minimum of ten people to make it an effective tool, so please join us and bring a colleague if possible on Monday, April 1st from 11am-1pm. Lunch will be served.

We will also ask that you fill out a consent form, which we will send your way after you select your preferred date. Please note that participation is completely voluntary, and participants will not be compensated for participation in the study.
