AARCC 30th Anniversary Meal Kit

The African American Resource & Cultural Center is celebrating its 30th Anniversary!!

Save the date! On Friday, April 16th at 5:00 PM PST. This will be a 2 part event! The first part will be a formal celebration with distinguished speakers who will deliver keynote speeches and share their personal stories.

The second half of the celebration will take place at 6:30 PM PST. There will be a variety of community zoom rooms that you may choose from and in them, you will be able to engage with current students in the various activities planned!

Meal Kit Info:

This year, for the AARCC's 30th anniversary, the Cowell Coffee Shop and FSWG, will be offering a Meal Kit highlighting local food pathways and sustainable farm-to-table practices. The Meal Kit recipes are designed by an AARCC intern, Shaye Paysinger, as a collaboration with our team. Meal kits will provide a partially prepped meal for 4-6 people (10-12 servings).

Meal Kits will include par prepped ingredients for chili made with CASFS Hueterite heirloom beans, sauteed collards, baked mac and cheese, and a carrot spice cake. Kits can be vegan, vegetarian, or omnivorous. Gluten-free options are not available, though about 70% of the meal is gluten friendly.
