2024 Lazarus Summer Meals

Volunteers can sign up to cook or distribute meals Monday - Thursday starting June 17 through July 18. Those interested in preparing meals in the kitchen will also need to attend a training session with Al Ronelli on June 6 at 10 am (If you were trained as a kitchen volunteer last year, no need to attend the training again).

ON THE DAY YOU VOLUNTEER:
Meal preparation will start at 11:30 am to have meals ready for 1:30 pick up by volunteers who will deliver and distribute meals.
Delivery volunteers will pick up meals at 1:30 pm and meet staff from the Winter Park Neighborhood Center for Families by 2 pm at the hotel. Recipients will have been pre-registered. Walk-ups can be served if pre-registered recipients do not show up. Distribution of meals is finished by 3 pm.
