AS Ashleigh Taylor · Digital Media MA, 1st choice. As an image maker, I enjoy the coming together of work. I have the intention of hosting my own exhibition as part of my FMP, I feel being part of curating a show and seeing the journey from planning to opening night will be massively beneficial.

XU Xuanning Zhao (Lavi) · Digital Media MA, 1st choice. Researching how art works goes into our porous body. I am rethinking about the function of a gallery, so wish to get involve to a gallery event. Participant of "Occupation" response Joseph Beuys art work in Leeds Art Gallery.

AS Assunta Miles · MA Fashion Textile Practices. My 1st choice. I am exploring the importance of making with our hands and the relevance of traditional craft skills today. I hope to set up my own business as a designer maker in the future, this would be a great opportunity for me.

CA Caroline Hodgson · MA Fashion Textile Practices. First option. My enquiry is very much aligned with this project, therefore it would inform my work as well as allowing me to apply my academic and industry knowledge to date. I would also find it very rewarding to input into local industry issues.

JE Jessica Pepper · Ma Fashion Textile Practise - This project would be my first choice as not only do I have a high interest within the subject matter at hand but I also believe it will help me to continue to develop my marketing and branding skills I gained during my undergrad and also, due to be a fashion practioner, I can highly relate to items of clothing, feeling a part of me as a person and not just part of my wardrobe. it's important to love the clothes you wear, even if they're not necessarily "fashionable".

GR Gracie Glancy · MA Fashion and Textiles Practices) this is my first choice. I think it would be really intersting exhibition and id like to get experience working with with the curators and be able to engage with audiences. I find the YSP really interesting so I would love to spend more time there.

LA Laura Krauß · MA Creative Pattern Cutting) 2nd choice. Since sustainability is a major topic of my Master's project, I am very interested in new materials and technologies. It would be a great opportunity to improve my knowledge in this field and be a part in this project.

BE Becca Makin · (MA Textiles & Fashion) First choice. I am interested in engaging with the public and learning more about British art. To also work out of my comfort zone in an art gallery. It would be interesting to see what I can offer and learn from others in this project.

BE Becca Makin · (MA fashion & textiles) second choice. This project links closely with my current practical project that consists of health and wellbeing within textiles. So, to gain a new approach on health and well being from the outdoors and communicating and interacting with people will add to my research for own work.

MA Matthew Dickerson · MA Graphic Design) This is my 1st choice. This project links closely to the concerns of my own project in discussing the notions of sustainability, and the modernisation of methods through current and future trends. I am particularly interested in the digitisation and manufacturing technologies, and I feel that I will be able to offer a range of multi-disciplinary skills coming from a background in product, lifestyle and health & fitness photography, and graphic design.

GW Gwynneth Carville (Creative Pattern Cutting) 2nd Choice · I am interested in liaising with audiences to find out how they might engage more with work on display. I am hoping to integrate a more multi-sensory approach to my own project - Structural forms. So this would connect well with this project.

GW Gwynneth Carville (Creative Pattern Cutting) 1st Choice · I am thinking of developing Structural forms as part of my own proposal. I have visited YSP on a few occasions before - love the place. I believe Sculpture and being outdoors to be both hugely beneficial to health and well being. I am hoping to also learn about curating exhibitions and considering different types of venues, e.g challenges for sculpture/weathering etc.. outdoors.

I'm currently practicing avoiding fast fashion and instead buying my clothes second hand so this project relates not only to my professional life but personal too

First Choice. · The conference themes sound quite interesting, this project will broaden my knowledge of the textiles and fashion industries and it will feel good to contribute to a better environment. Having recently transitioned to a Vegan Lifestyle, I am keen to find other ways to protect the World.

EL Elliott Cram · MA Graphic Design 1st Choice) My focus has been on "Design for Display" so interacting with a gallery and researching audience engagement through exhibitions and social media is something I find interesting. I would also like the opportunity to learn more about British art and what goes into creating exhibitions.

LA Laura Mateescu · (1st choice).I am a very hands on person and I believe a project like the one The Making space is proposing would help me broaden my network circle while also developing other skills. I am very interested in meeting new people involved in creative projects that i could learn from while also shaping a project together.

Through photography, I have been exploring concepts such as alterity, culture, identity. I am interested in the curatorial aspect of this project as well, wanting to learn more about the industry, the technical advancements that should be taken into consideration.Another aspect would be engaging with other artists who approach these subjects while also learning and advancing my knowledge around this subjects

KA Kayleigh Davis · This is my second choice. I feel that this project is something that I am very interested in on both an academic and personal level. I find that the relationship between the arts and wellbeing should go hand in hand and I welcome any opportunity to spend time at YSP as I have based a lot of my own practice on my experiences there.

I am familiar with Mila's work, having met her in undergrad and found the subject of her work very inspiring. Coming from a fashion background with an interest in ethical / slow fashion and circular economy, I am very interested in how One Thing Collection will work. I believe that this project would be inspiring and developmental to me as an ethical creative practitioner, as well as on a personal level from someone who has great emotional attachment to certain pieces from my wardrobe.)

AS Ashleigh patrick · Ashleigh Patrick 2nd choice MA fashion textile practices I feel this project would be great for me to work on as it’s about creating sustainable textiles. I come from a costume background where they are made for continuous use and created to last a long time, unlike fashion as it’s created for the current moment and not expect to be used years down the line.
