Fall 2019 Conferences (Please sign-up by Friday, 10/25/19)

Dear Lower School Parents and Guardians,

We are looking forward to seeing you for Fall Conferences! These 20-minute meetings (scheduled on the half hour) provide an important opportunity for you and your child’s Lead Teacher or Teaching team to review academic and social progress thus far, and to discuss specific strategies to help your child continue to develop as a student and community member.

Please see below for important information about Fall Conferences and registering for complimentary Conference Care.

Fall Conference Date: Friday, November 1, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Please note: there is no school for children on that day.

Scheduling a Conference with your child's classroom teacher(s): Using the sign up sheet below, locate your child's grade level and names of his/her classroom teacher(s). Select a 20-minute time slot and click "Join" and enter the names of parent(s) / guardian(s) who will be attending. In the "Leave a Comment?" section, enter your child's first name.

If you are unable to attend Fall Conferences: Provide a suggested date and time for meeting with your child’s classroom teacher(s) within these guidelines. The date you choose must fall between Monday, October 28 and Friday, November 8. Scroll down to the bottom of the WeJoinin online sign-up sheet (https://www.wejoinin.com/sheets/earws) until you reach “Appointment Request for Different Date.” Enter an alternative date and time for meeting with your child’s classroom teacher(s). Make sure to include your name, child’s name and the names of parent(s) / guardian(s) who will be attending. Your child’s classroom teacher(s) will contact you via email to confirm the appointment.

Meeting with Specialists: We hope you will take advantage of the Conference Day to connect with the Specialist Teachers, as well, who will be available for 10-minute meetings on a drop-in basis. If you would rather schedule a specific appointment with your child’s Specialist Teachers in advance, please reach out to him or her directly.

Registering for Conference Care: If you will need Conference Care for your child while you are participating in conferences, you must fill out this form https://forms.gle/zL33tTBciHfhLyrw6 in advance to secure a spot. Conference Care is complimentary and is available for up to one hour on Conference Day. Please submit your form by Thursday, October 31 at 6:00 p.m.
