New Year 108 Sun Salutations January 1, 2024, 11 am

Hosted by Kayo_

Come to join us New Year 108 Sun Salutations January 1, 2024.
The number 108 is sacred and significant in many ways, appearing in many disciplines from astronomy to yoga: In Japan, at the end of the year, a bell is chimed 108 times in Buddhist temples to finish the old year and welcome the new one. Each ring represents one of 108 earthly temptations (Bonnō) a person must overcome to achieve nirvana.
Practicing 108 Sun Salutations is a meditative practice that connects the body, the mind, and the universe specifically when nature is undergoing a change. And coupled with this change in nature, yogis can start once again, fresh, renewed and inspired.
Take break anytime during the practice, listen to your body and enjoy it with us.
Meet at Kayo's place at 10:45, the practice will start at 11 sharp. Please sign you up if you are planning to join us. It is a limited space, please sign one person per row.
