UCF A Cappella - Fall Rush 2k18

Audition Rooms:
Monday (Guys) - VAB 132
Tuesday (Girls) - NSC 112
Wednesday (Guys) - NSC 112
Thursday (Girls) - NSC 112
Friday (Girls) - NSC 112
Saturday (All Genders) - NSC 112

Update! We have opened up saturday as an additional day of auditions for ladies. If you cannot make Saturday feel free to sign up as a walkin on any of the other "Ladies" days. We'll make sure to hear you.

If slots fill up and you find yourself unable to make the times left, please sign up under the slot labeled "walk-ins" on the day that you plan to audition. Show up anytime during that day, and we'll make sure you get the chance to audition. However, you may have to wait until after everyone who was previously signed up has already gone. Remember, walk-ins are still gender specific (guys should come Monday, Wednesday and Satturday, while ladies should come Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Should there be a crazy volume of auditions, we will add another day!

AUDITION PROCESS (keep in mind that audition days are Gender-Specific!)

Auditions will be 10 minutes long, and will consist of the following:
Range Check
Sight-Reading (Optional)
Call & Response Pitch Accuracy Exercise
Vocal Percussion (Optional) - Call & Response or Freestyle

Prepared Piece - Verse and chorus of Contemporary/ Pop song, or whatever shows off your range and style. (Please have lyrics memorized, and keep it under one minute if possible!)
