Volunteers Needed (8/31) to Support Texas Through Clean the World Organization - ALL CALL

We have received an updated notification from the Clean the World organization that they will still need volunteers to pack hygiene kits that will be shipped to Houston TX and Louisiana per their requested needs.

We are coordinating efforts to transport interested volunteers tomorrow (8/31) morning. If you are interested in attending, please meet at Tars Plaza (Giant Flag Pole in front of Mills Lawn-Center of Campus) at 9:15 a.m. The JUMP bus will leave campus at 9:30 a.m. and return at 12 p.m. Seats are limited, so please sign-up utilizing this link

What to do before you arrive: Complete and submit a liability waiver on their website by following this link (https://cleantheworld.org/volunteer-liability-waiver/). Please do not print the waiver.

What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are required and comfortable clothing is recommended (their volunteer space is not climate controlled).

What to bring: A refillable water-bottle (we will have water available, and ask that you bring your own water-bottles to limit the amount of waste from paper cups). Please also consider bringing your own latex-free gloves (if you have them) to reduce our operational costs.

Age requirement: Kids must be at least 8 years old to participate.

Where to go if you can’t go with the Rollins group or at that time: Students, Faculty, and Staff are welcome to drive themselves if they cannot go during the arranged time listed above. The organization will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. tomorrow (8/31) looking for support from volunteers. Volunteering takes place at 2544 E Landstreet Rd, Suite 600, Orlando FL 32824 (new location for the organization). Please note, you still must complete the waiver, wear appropriate attire, and review all the information above.
