KID Audition Sign-Up for THE MUSIC MAN *Ages 8 thru 8th Grade*

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

Please sign up for ONE slot and arrive a 15 minutes prior to your audition slot to fill out an audition form.

CALL BACKS:
Friday, September 16th starting @ 7pm (Callback information will be emailed out after all auditions have taken place.)

Be prepared to sing a song (not exceeding 32 bars or 1 minute in length) FROM THE SHOW sung by a character you would like to audition for OR that's in your vocal range. No a cappella singing allowed. Also, come prepared to dance with proper dance attire.

If you cannot attend auditions, video submissions can be uploaded to google drive (sharing options turned ON) or YouTube and sent to Rocco Ayala at roccoaster87@gmail.com

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
Sundays 1pm-5pm
Wednesdays 7pm-10pm
Thursdays 7pm-10pm

* Majority of kids that are cast will be called only on Sundays up until 2 weeks before the show. Leads may be called during the week from the beginning, but we will do our best to dismiss them by 9pm.

TECH SATURDAY: Nov 5th
TECH WEEK: Nov 7th-10th (Kids are required to attend tech week. Though we do not have a dismissal time, we will do our best to get them out by 10pm.)
PERFORMANCES: Nov 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th @ 7:30pm. Nov 6th & 13th @ 3pm.

COME WITH A LIST OF YOUR CONFLICTS. We will not accept conflicts AFTER the show has been cast. We cannot cast those with multiple conflicts, or conflicts during tech week through performance dates.
