How do I prepare for my passport photos?
* Bring your Wiscard.
* Wear a dark color solid top. White clothing can blend into the photo backdrop.
* If you have long hair, pull it back or have a way to keep it behind your shoulders.
* Head coverings or hats are allowed for U.S. passports as long as there is a religious or medical reason and documentation.

UW-Madison Study Abroad takes photos using the US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affair photo guidelines.  These guidelines may not match guidelines for various other country visa requirements. We cannot guarantee their acceptance by various visa offices, consulates, embassies, governments, or other organizations.  UW-Madison Study Abroad is not responsible for the delays caused by photos determined unacceptable, but if your photo is rejected, we can take another photo.
