Up to Us Documentary (03/05)

On Tuesday, November 06th, AGS will be hosting the second branch of Up to Us, the Up to Us Documentary Event at the Great Hall from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. AGS will be showing a documentary/TED talk which will discuss the importance of the fiscal policy. This will be followed by an actual discussion about the fiscal policy as well. The goal of this event is to get people to sign a pledge for the Up to Us Competition. The signed pledges regarding their awareness for the national debt will be sent to local, state, and federal politicians. This is also part of a country-wide competition between colleges to see who can get the most pledges. If they sign, they will be entered in a raffle and have the chance to win one out of several prizes at the Two Cents Day event on Friday, November 16th. To make sure that they are entered for the raffle, their name and email will be written down so that we can remind them of the Two Cents Day event. They will receive another entry to the raffle if they take a picture of the event and post it on social media. Please sign up if you are interested in volunteering for this event!
