REMINDERS: You will receive more information via email. Please check your email. Due to classroom size, each mother may only bring one adult support person with them to class. We encourage you to bring a beverage.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Our [VIRTUAL AND IN HOUSE] Breastfeeding Class includes information on how to get breastfeeding off to a good start, common breastfeeding positions, how to encourage a robust milk supply, and much more! This live, interactive class is taught by a board certified lactation consultant and includes plenty of time for questions. You are encouraged to attend with a support person.

A stuffed animal, doll or pillow, 18 to 20 inches long, is helpful for practicing positioning. The floppier the better! You may also wish to have a paper and pencil for taking notes.

VIRTUAL Class will be held on Google Meet. You will need an internet connection and a phone, tablet or computer to view. If you do not have an internet connection, a call in only option will be provided. You will not be able to see the materials, but will be able to listen and ask questions. Our IN HOUSE Class-NO- IN HOUSE AT THIS TIME
LOCATION: UP Health Systems Marquette, in the Family Birthing Center Classroom. Park in Parking lot A. (Main Entrance by the Roundabout). Enter the hospital though the Main entrance. Go to the information desk. Take the elevators located behind the information desk to the 2nd floor. When exiting the elevators go to the left. There will be a set of double doors on your left. Go through the doors and the classroom is the 2nd door on the right.

CLASS FEE: $10 or free with childbirth preparation registration
